Derbyshire is  the only place on earth that has managed to capture my heart. It is the only place where I wanted to die. It is the place where I lived continuously for the longest -and I have been around, believe me!-. Derbyshire is my home. It breaks my heart that I am no longer there. Every day I miss it. I never envisaged that one day I would leave. But life gets in the way and my circumstances changed so dramatically that I had to leave my beloved Derbyshire behind.

Now it takes the biggest space in my heart and in my memories. I am the luckiest person on earth to have had the chance to be one of them, to be a Derbyshire lass.
