About Ana's Art

Drawing has always been part of me. Since childhood drawing was a source of escapism, of focussing the mind in the calm pleasure it provided even then. 

 

As a young adult other aspects of life took over and i forgot how much I enjoyed sharing private time with a pad and pencil, watching the images take shape and become alive in front of my eyes.

 

Now, as a middle aged adult I have recovered that incommesurable pleasure by developing my technique and extending pencil work to charcoal, pastels, watercolours, acrylics and oils. 

A true journey of discovery of myself through my work.

Whilst my art work has always been a private and personal space, the time has come to share it with you. Each piece is a part of me. In them, I hope you feel at least some of the pleasure I experienced while producing them.
